Have you installed the JavaFx sdk? Such as javafx-sdk-17.0.2 or later. After installing that sdk you need Build Path library references in your project to these jars in the lib of the sdk: javafx.base.jar javafx.controls.jar javafx.fxml.jar javafx.graphics.jar javafx.media.jar javafx.swing.jar javafx.web.jar javafx.swt.jar
