In my Gradel build I use
`
dependencies {implementation com.google.android.gms:play-services-ads:20.4.0
implementation com.google.firebase:firebase-auth:21.0.3
implementation com.google.firebase:firebase-database:19.6.0
implementation com.google.firebase:firebase-messaging:17.3.1
implementation com.google.firebase:firebase-firestore:23.0.4 implementation com.google.firebase:firebase-storage:20.0.1
implementation com.firebase:firebase-client-android:2.3.1
implementation com.firebaseui:firebase-ui-database:4.3.2 implementation com.google.firebase:firebase-analytics:19.0.2
apply plugin: com.google.gms.google-services }`
And gradel app
Top-level build file where you can add configuration options common to all sub-projects/modules.
buildscript {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
classpath com.android.tools.build:gradle:7.0.4
classpath com.google.gms:google-services:4.3.15
classpath com.github.dcendents:android-maven-gradle-plugin:2.1
classpath com.google.firebase:perf-plugin:1.3.1
classpath com.android.tools.build:gradle:7.0.4
}
}
allprojects {
repositories {
maven { url "https://jitpack.io"
}
google()
jcenter()
}
}
task clean(type: Delete) {
delete rootProject.buildDir
}`
In my activity class
`
private AdView mAdView;
mAdView = findViewById(R.id.adView);
AdRequest adRequest = new AdRequest.Builder().build();
mAdView.loadAd(adRequest);`
error: cannot find symbol
private AdView mAdView;
^
symbol: class AdView
location: class SearchActivity
Admob ads are not working for me. I am trying to identify them in the class. They do not have any private library. What is the solution to this problem?
